Online Advertising Done Wrong

I just loaded up TheLantern.com to check on something and found that college publisher and served up a vertical ad in the banner section across the top of the screen. All of the content - our entire page - was below the fold. The entire browser window was our background with a thin strip of advertising down the middle. How often does that happen? I reloaded a few times and didn’t get the same thing - though I did get the vertical version of that ad a couple of times. Maybe a fluke, but it doesn’t seem to me to be the sort of things that only happens once.
UPDATE: 5 minutes later: it just did it again!
